Local Getways has comprehensive articles including listings of most places to eat, drink and things to do across California and Hawaii. When you purchase a Prime Placement, your current listing in one of our articles will be moved to the top of the page where it already appears. So while you pay for the placement, you do not pay for the listing itself, only the placement.
Absolutely! If you are not listed in any of our articles, your listing will be added to a relevant article and then placed in a prominent position at the top of the page.
Yes! We have an inhouse production team that can help create your ad. You will just need to provide us with the relevant ad materials, such as images, logos, contact information and text.
A member of our team will be in contact to guide you through the process and help you determine what assets your Prime Placement Ad will require. Once the ad has been created (either submitted by you, or built by our team) and approved, we will show you the final result and you can watch it appear each month across our products!
When we get in touch with you, we will direct you to an upload page where you can upload all your assets, with relevant specs.

Absolutely – please allow 5 days for us to change out your ad. We will allow one change per calendar year.
Yes, you can see your ad on the website after it goes live. For the app exclusive listing, you will need to download it to see it live.
No, everything is automated through Stripe.
